NOTICE: SHIPPING UPDATE

Dear Customer,

This is to inform you that COVID-19 cases are rising at an alarming rate in some states in India, and as such, our courier partners have sent us notifications regarding the shipping of non-essential products to some states. They are also refusing to accept cash on delivery orders in general as the delivery person is apprehensive of getting infected.

Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh: These governments are taking all the necessary steps to curb the surging cases. While the Maharashtra government has imposed Section 144 in the entire state, the Chhattisgarh government has announced a lockdown in some parts of the state. Non-essential shipments are returned to us without a delivery attempt if a seller ships a product that does not fall under the essential category.

As the COVID-19 cases are rising at an alarming rate, several state governments have started taking stern measures to curb the spread of this deadly virus. the current lockdown imposed in various states and union territories in the country, there will be a delay in the processing and delivering of your orders as most of our courier partners have halted operations while others are short staffed. We are constantly monitoring the situation and working with our courier partners to get your orders delivered as soon as possible. We request you to bear with us in this challenging situation.

1) Strict Lockdown in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Mizoram, and Puducherry.

Maharashtra  the government has imposed lockdown in the entire state and only delivery of essential items is allowed.

Delhi  a strict lockdown is imposed till 5:00 AM on 26 May and only delivery of essentials is allowed during the 6-day lockdown.

Chhattisgarh– no delivery of essentials or non-essential items is allowed.

Karnataka  Full Close Down has been announced and delivery of essential items are being allowed till 12th May.

As a result, the pickup and delivery of items to these states will be affected. We would like to bring to your notice the following guidelines as issued by our courier partners and the respective state government.

2) Indian Customs office is also facing high shipment volumes combined with COVID -19 protocols, the clearance process is taking longer than normal
