Information we collect

2. Payment and billing information. We might collect your billing name, billing address and payment method when you buy a product. We NEVER collect your credit card number or credit card expiry date or other details pertaining to your credit card on our website. Credit card information will be obtained and processed by our online payment partners as displayed on the checkout page of our website.

At LaCarenes.com we have customised pricing according to the services rendered by us. The details are provided to you beforehand according to the effort, efficiency and output of the service. Typically the range of transactions on our website varies from INR 1000 to 100,000/-.

All product prices shown on the website are Excluding GST, The appropriate GST rates will be added as per the law on the checkout page.

Schedule of payment
Some of our services can be utilized for fixed durations. In such cases, it is clearly mentioned within the description of these services. The period of usage in these cases varies from 1 month to 1 year.

Price Matching
At LaCarenes.com we are committed to offering you the best possible prices. Our operational cost varies depending on several factors and dictates our pricing. We are unable to match prices from auction and outlet stores or websites, as well as other retailers’ discount promotions, shipping offers, and gift card offers.

Note: We reserve the right, not to disclose our pricing strategy to our customers. Hence we are not under any obligation to the customer to discuss or disclose the break up of our cost or product prices. All sales are issued a GST Compliant Tax Invoice.

Sale Adjustment
If an item you have purchased is reduced in price within two weeks of your order date, we will happily adjust the sale price for you. This does not apply to Flash Sales and other sales promotions, Combo offers etc and only applies to individual products being discounted. Please note that we can only make one sale adjustment per item and designer goods originally purchased on sale are excluded.

Pricing Errors
We work hard to ensure the accuracy of pricing. Despite our efforts, pricing errors may still occur. If an item’s price is higher than the price displayed, we will cancel your order for that item and notify you of the cancellation.

Shopping Cart
Items in your Shopping Cart reflect the current price (Excluding GST) displayed on the item’s product details page. Please note: This price may differ from the price displayed when the item was first placed in your Shopping Cart.

Our merchandise/service is offered for sale by LaCarenes.com for your personal enjoyment and not for resale. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse to sell to any person whom we believe may be purchasing for resale.

Return Policy

Please note that as of April 1, 2020, since the COVID-19 pandemic, we have revised our return and refund policy to keep up with this situation. Hence, we request that all customers please ask questions and get clarifications about the brand or product via online chat. Also, read all terms and conditions and website policies before placing your order with us.

Time Limit for Return: seven calendar days to return an item from the date you received the order, but strictly under the following conditions:.

• You need to contact us immediately (maximum within 24 hours) after receiving the product/order package. To register your complaint, send an email to order@lacarenes.com.

• You are responsible for ensuring that on receipt of your order/shipment, you are required to take a video (unedited) showing 1) the shipment package (unopened), 2) the shipping label (unopened), and then open the package and show the contents (products). Please immediately email the same to order@lacarenes.com or send the photographs by WhatsApp to +919591516857.

What’s Eligible for Return:

• If you received an incorrect product in India and it was not as per your order (you would need to send us a video of the package opening to validate your claim), the RTO of your package will be arranged in 2 to 3 days’ time. Just repack the products as best you can and keep them in a safe place; do not seal the box; the courier will check the product prior to pickup. This facility is not available for international customers.

• If the product is damaged on arrival (you would need to send us a video of the package opening to validate your claim), we will arrange the RTO of your order if you are located in India, For international customers, unfortunately, this facility is not available, and they will have to ship their order back to our warehouse at their own risk and expense. On receipt of your return, the products will be inspected, and if found to be in order, we will then send you the replacement product subject to availability or a refund of your order (after deductions) at our sole discretion. You can also request store credit to buy other products on our website.

What’s not eligible for a return?

• If you ordered the incorrect products or the wrong shades but did not realize the same until receiving your order.

• If you failed to read the product specification, product volume, country or origin, etc. prior to ordering but now would like to exchange the product.

• You changed your mind, found it cheaper on another website, or just no longer want this product, hence requesting a return and refund.

• Any product that is already opened or used. (Since COVID-19, Once the product is opened or removed from its original packaging, we will not accept returns or refunds under any circumstances.)

• Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing components for reasons not due to our error.

• Any item where the Original packaging of the product is slightly crushed due to packing and shipping, but the product is intact.

• Any item that is returned more than seven days after delivery.

• Any customer who has not submitted their unedited videos of the package (as per the guidelines provided) to validate their claim.

Please note that we process, check, pack, and ship your product as per the order that you placed and can not be held responsible for errors or omissions on the part of the customer while placing your order. The details of your order are sent to you by email and are also available on your My Account Page. You have adequate time to correct or cancel your order prior to shipping; please see our cancellation policy below

Refund Policy

When your returned product is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.

Once your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit note will be automatically applied to your account via Store Credit/Discount Coupon or via the original method of payment at our sole discretion, within 7 to 15 working days from the date of approval. Bank charges and transaction fees, return shipping charges, packing charges, COD charges (if applicable), cancellation charges, and any other charges incurred will be deducted from your refund amount. For international customers, an additional amount of customs duty, taxes, and other related charges incurred will also be deducted.

For cancelled orders, the amount that will be refunded will be after the deduction of cancellation charges below. Refunds will be processed and credited in approximately 7 to 15 days, depending on your payment method, bank location, etc.

Late or missing refunds
Once the refund is initiated, the funds are debited from our account instantly, and we do not have much control but to wait for up to 15 working days for the status to get updated on our dashboard and for it to appear in your account, so please be patient. If you haven’t received a refund after 15 business days, first check your bank account, it may take some time before your transaction is officially posted by the bank. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not been able to trace your refund, then contact RazorPay or our payment gateway directly and give them your refund ID to check the status. You can also contact us at order@lacarenes.com. we will identify the issue and advice you accordingly.

Also note that we will not be held responsible in anyway for delays or loss of refund amount once processed and the refund ID has been automatically generated. The funds are instantly debited from our account; hence, if you have not provided the correct bank details, you need to inform us at the time of requesting the refund. or if there is any technical difficulty with the payment gateway, their refund links, etc., you would need to contact them directly.

On Sale Products
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, items that are purchased during a sale cannot be refunded.

On Backorder
Pre-order and backorder items are not eligible for a refund as we have ordered the item, especially for you.

Payment via EMI installments & ePayLater facilities.
An order placed using alternate payment options on Razorpay Payment Gateway, such as ZestMoney Cardless EMI and ePayLater Delayed Payment, is not eligible for a refund as it involves third-party services and is subject to the agreement that you have signed with these service providers.

NOTICE
Until further notice, we only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect as per your order.

All customers are responsible for ensuring that on receipt of your order/shipment, you are required to take a video (unedited) showing 1) the shipment package (unopened), 2) the shipping label (unopened), and then open the package and show the contents (products). This is a precautionary measure to verify that the shipment has been delivered to you safely and is also mandatory to file your claim and process your request for return and refunds for your order.

In the event of a non-receipt of shipment or products damaged during transit, the customer is requested to contact us immediately, or maximum within 48 hours of the delivered status being updated on the order tracking page, or notification email and SMS being sent to you. Failure to do so will waive the customer’s rights to claim and process the return and refund of said shipment. These terms are also listed in our Terms and Conditions that customers have already agreed to at the time of checkout and placing the order.

Free Products Policy: We frequently offer free products for orders of values of ₹25000 and above, excl GST, subject to availability (Only applicable for orders within India and without the use of any discount coupon, excluding discounted products) This is provided in collaboration with various brands and manufacturers and, as such, is subject to availability at the time of placing your order.  These products are intended to be a surprise gift at the sole discretion of LaCarenes, and as such, customers do not get the option of choosing these products. 

Free Samples Policy: Samples are provided in collaboration with various brands/manufacturers and, as such, are subject to availability at the time of placing your order.  Samples, when available, are included with the order at the time of shipping and at the sole discretion of LaCarenes, and customers do not get the option of choosing the sample at this time.

Please note that Free Products and Samples are value-added services provided at the sole discretion of LaCarenes.com and they do not qualify for returns or exchanges at any given time. By placing your order, you are not automatically entitled to receive free samples and products.

An order can only be cancelled before / prior to the order being shipped from our warehouse. Relevant cancellation charges, as mentioned below, will apply. You can proceed to cancel your order by contacting customer support for assistance. You can also email us at order@lacarenes.com and we will do the needful.

Cancellation Charges:-

Pre-paid Orders: You can cancel your order and request a refund within 48 hours of placing it.  The amount that will be refunded after the deduction of cancellation charges of approximately 10% of the total order value towards bank or payment gateway transaction charges already incurred. Typically, refunds will be processed within 2 working days and credited in approximately 10–15 business days, which, once initiated, is beyond our control and depends entirely on your payment mode and bank.

After 48 hours, cancellation charges will be approximately 15%,  And if your order has already been shipped, you will be charged an additional restocking fee of 10% of the order value plus the return (TO and FRO) Courier charges will also be deducted before processing your refund and this amount will vary depending on the package size and order value.

Payment for orders during brand promotion, special offers, and orders where payment is made via credit card EMI or ePayLater facility are not eligible for cancellation as they are third-party services available to you through our payment gateway provider, and your payments are also subject to their respective terms and conditions, which you have accepted by opting to avail yourself of the facility.

International pre-paid orders: can only be cancelled within 48 hours of placing your order, and your refunds will be processed after a deduction of approximately 15% or higher depending on the mode of payment and payment provided. (After 48 hours, cancellation charges will be approximately 20% or higher.) This is for incurred charges such as bank and payment gateway transaction fees, foreign exchange conversion fees, taxes, etc., and your account will be credited in approximately 15–20 business days, which, once initiated, is beyond our control and depends entirely on your payment mode and bank. Your international orders cannot be cancelled after they have been shipped from our warehouse.

Cash on Delivery Orders: You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not been shipped from our warehouse.

We can not accept the cancellation of your COD orders after they have been shipped, as we would have already incurred COD charges, packing charges, and shipping charges from our shipping partner. You will be liable to pay additional cancellation charges of 15% plus a restocking fee of 10% of your order value in addition to the above-mentioned charges already incurred, which will be determined at our sole discretion.
